Good Morning!

Happy Fourth of July to you, my American friends! I hope you’ll enjoy the festivities. Think of us during your day off today. Lol. My husband took the day off, too for some strange reason. I wish I could do the same but with my sick days last week, I couldn’t bear the thought of asking my boss. Anyhow, my work day usually goes by fast, and they’re going to meet me for lunch today so it’s not so bad.

Yesterday, my husband and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary by being in bed the whole day because we’re both still under the weather. We were going to go on a dinner date, but I told him we should postpone it. We don’t have our sense of taste back so it would be a waste of good dinner. My husband and I have been together for 22 years and married for 17 like I said. I can’t believe we’re still going strong after all these years and after all the shit I’ve put him through. He truly deserves a medal of valour.

So my book haul. Yes. Well, let’s just say it was my wedding anniversary present from dear husband. Yeah. Let’s go with that. Lol.
