Morning Star by Pierce Brown | She’s Not There by Joy Fielding | The Defiant by Lisa M. Stasse | The Twelve by Justin Cronin | Shylock is My Name by Howard Jacobson
Greetings and Salutations!
How are y’all? I had a better week. Thank you for all your kind words and encouragement. There’s nothing on the horizon yet, but I have an interview lined up on Monday. Let’s hope it’ll lead to something great. Because I was pretty much at home this past week, I was able to read some, write some and comment. This might be a good opportunity to find some blogs to follow, so I’m going to take advantage.
Thank you so much to Penguin Random House Canada for my review copies of Shes’s Not There and Shylock is My Name. I’ve always wanted to try Joy Fielding’s work so I was happy when I saw her latest from PRHC’s email last month. Also, Shylock is My Name is the latest in Hogwarth Shakespeare’s series. This is Howard Jacobson’s interpretation of The Merchant of Venice.
Binge Reading Kit
The highlight of my week was receiving this box from Penguin Random House Canada. As you know, I recently read and reviewed The Passage by Justin Cronin. Words cannot express how much I loved it. I loved it so much I picked up a copy of The Twelve as soon as I turned the last page of The Passage. Lo and behold, this arrived a few days later. Bonus: ARC of the third book in the series! OMG. I was flailing like a fish out of water. Lol. Included in this box was gum, night light, Red Bull and popcorn for snacks. Perfect binge reading necessities!
Anyway, show me what you got. Leave me a link or what have you. Otherwise, I’ll come by soon.
Happy reading, loves!
