2016 is turning out to be a great year for new releases. Whether it’s a series you’ve followed since day one or debut work from new authors, it is an exciting year to be a book nerd. Today, I’d like to share you the books that I would kill, maim, and die for to get a copy.
I’m pleasantly surprised to find two books in the Charley Davidson series that’s coming out this year. And though I’ve already read the ninth book, I still want to get a physical copy to add to my collection. In a sense, I supposed the ninth book is a bridge that will pave the way for the tenth book.
The Raven King is a long time coming. It’s been postponed for going on two years now, so I’m desperate to read this conclusion. I’m sad to see these kids go, but I really need Maggie to put me out of my misery already.
The Beast is the 14th book to The Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I know it’s about Rhage’s — well, beast. I hope JR Ward has something new to offer us with this instalment.
Haters to the left, to the left. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare is yes, in the same world as her Infernal Devices and Mortal Instruments. And I don’t care. I’m a fan of this series and if you’re not, then clearly, she’s not writing these books for you. Don’t buy it. It’s all for us, mkay?
The Golden Son by Pierce Brown killed me. Killed me. So yeah. I need Morning Star like I need my next breath. Gimme. Gimme. Gimme.
A Gathering of Shadows. It’s just one of those stories where the need to know what happens next is dire.
Marked in Flesh. Will they? Will Meg and Simon finally get together in this installment? Ack. Inquiring minds want to know!
The Shadow Hour. Man, this is one of those series where I know I want to read the next book, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what the first book was about. All I know is I need it!
