On the Night Table [20]: Gone Fishing

DSC00228

Hello, dear readers!

As some of you may know, I will be on holidays this week. Which means, I may be off the grid for the next 7 days. The internet reception at the cabin is spotty at best, so I might not be able to visit you. I will try my best, anyhow.

This week’s reading pile might just be a bit ambitious, but not because of the books featured above. I’ll get to that in a bit. I have one book for review (I Saw A Man by Owen Sheers) and a couple of books that I wanted to read just because. Since I will not be doing much on my holidays (besides read), I thought this is the perfect opportunity to tackle a book that I’ve always wanted to read but couldn’t get to.

This behemoth clocks in at 861 pages. I’m going to finally attempt to read this since it’s been sitting in my shelves for years now. I had a choice between this one and starting the Harry Potter series. But I decided to read the HP books with my son. Wish me luck!

Gosh, I’ve read quite a few books this week. I discovered Penny Reid through This Girl Reads A Lot’s blog. I was hooked, and couldn’t stop downloading her books. Needless to say, I’ve been spending a few bucks on her this week. Lol. The rest of the books off my TBR are as follows:

  • China Rich Girlfriend by Kevin Kwan
  • Elements of Chemistry by Penny Reid
  • Neanderthal Seeks Human [Knitting in the City, #1] by Penny Reid
  • Friends Without Benefits [Knitting in the City, #3] by Penny Reid
  • The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George
  • The Beauty and the Moustache by Penny Reid
I hope you’ll all have a great week! Happy reading.
