I tell you, if it’s not health issues, it’s something else. Yesterday, I tried to play chicken with the bus (spoiler alert: the bus won. The bus will ALWAYS win). It’s a good thing that I was going slow, and he was going slow, otherwise, I probably wouldn’t be here. It was morning; I haven’t had coffee yet. And I know that that’s not an excuse, but I swear to God, I never saw the bus coming. Anyway, I’m fine. The car, however, might’ve seen the last rays of the sun. May it rest in pieces.
This week hasn’t been the greatest, reviewing and reading wise. I’m a slave to my job, so I didn’t do too much reading. Needless to say, I did poorly on my assignments this week. On the other hand, Kate Perry’s Summerhill series pretty much took up most of my nights. The earlier instalments are definitely so much better than book #7 that I reviewed on Thursday. I might review them still as Morsels, or intermittently over the next few weeks. I stalked her author profile on Goodreads and found a few books of hers that I haven’t read. So, yay! 🙂 I really like her romance novels.
There’s not going to be an On the Night Table post for Monday, as I have yet to finish a couple on my queue. I’m halfway through Empire of Night, though. I’m determined to read A Darker Shade of Magic as well.
That’s it for me. I hope you’ll have a great weekend!
