How’ve your week been? Well, my birthday came and went quietly. I turned 41 last Wednesday with very little fanfare. This has been the tradition, it seems like. It’s all good, though. I’m not complaining. I’m thankful for every blessings I get every day so another year of having this wonderful life is all the gift I need. 🙂
Next week, my husband is on the hook for a pair of Manolo Blahniks. No ifs and buts about it! Ha.
I didn’t read too many books this week. I only managed to finish one book which is a huge tome, to be honest! We Are Not Ourselves by Matthew Thomas pretty much took up most of my time. No surprise there considering it’s a 620-page book. It was a labor of love type of read as it was the story of a family that spanned years and years. I thought I wasn’t going to be able finish, but I ended up loving it. There may have been tears as well.
I’m Vegas bound for the Valentine’s weekend with the hubby next week, but I’ll be around regardless.
Have you read any of these?
