Mad about Sandra.
This week was a Sandra Brown kind of week on the blog. I’d say I’m sorry, but hey. Her’s were all that I was in the mood for, nothing much I can do about that. I did manage to sneak in a couple of YAs. I read Push by Eve Silver and Snow Like Ashes by Sarah Raasch; both weren’t great, to be honest. I was supposed to have Jeyn Roberts on Monday here, but something must’ve happened on their end. I didn’t get her post until Friday. So I might post it some time this week.
Twenty dollars in my pocket.
I went on a spending spree at a thrift shop this week as well. I managed to snag some books that cost me a total of $20. Pretty good deal, if you ask me. But that doesn’t bode well with the dwindling space situation in my house.
Life After Life by Kate Atkinson | The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova | The Bronze Horseman by Paulina Simons | Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen | The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry | Wild Justice by Kelley Armstrong | The Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller
Read any good books lately?
The Quiet Dell and Low Pressure were both engrossing reads. Push and Snow Like Ashes, however…sigh.
Have a great week, everyone!
