Hello there. I’m sorry for the cheesy filter of my pic. I don’t usually use special effects on my Hoarders post, but I couldn’t resist. My husband got himself a Samsung phone and I wanted to try it out. Meh. Aside from the fact that it has a ginormous screen, nothing special about it. I’m still an iPhone girl. 🙂 Anywho, so how have you all been? The past week has just been the most stressful work week in my entire life. Gawd. I’ve gone home in tears, and seriously considered being a full time mom. If not for the pesky mortgage payments (we have two), private school tuition fees, wicked book buying vice, and horrendous travel budget, I’d have quit right there and there. This taking-over-my-former-boss’ job is killing me. But. Enough of that. I’m just glad the week is over.
So yeah. After BEA, you’d think homegirl will be staying away from bookstores! But noooooooo. Apparently, the piles of book she’d scored in NYC are simply not enough. Sigh. And this is why I could never quit my job. In my defence…actually. I got nothing.
Because my week has been a clusterfuck of epic proportions, I was not able to read anything. At. All. I do have some books on the go, though.
Downloaded this audio from Sync. I’m not too far into it, but I’m hopeful that I’ll liked it.
Currently Obsessing Over:
I am so so so obsessed with this series on YouTube! OMG. How have I only found out about it now?! Have you guys seen this? It’s Pride & Prejudice set in the era of social media! Annnnddd it was all filmed a couple of years ago. Ugh. Seriously, where the hell was I when this was on?! It’s so freaking awesome. It’s better than any other modern interpretation of the novel ever written in the history of ever. The actors that played the roles were freaking phenomenal, and the story lines?! No words. No words. Except…I skipped the parts of George Wickham. Ugh. Hate him. And Caroline. They should be together! Watch this, y’all. I’d include a little YouTube video, but my blog sucks. It only posts a link. Buuuutttt click the link up there and it will bring you to the entire playlist of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries!
