Thank you, Raincoast Books for these review copies!

I’ve been noticeably absent this week. This work thing is really sucking the fun out of this party. I’m so sick of apologizing so I’m just not gonna.

Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor. I didn’t bother writing a review for this book. It’s magnificent. Enough said.

Year of Mistaken Discoveries by Eileen Cook. I want the couple of hours I spent reading this book. Bah.

I’m still working on my review pile, and it’s not going so well, to be honest. I’m just…I need a holiday. 🙁

I hope to be back to visiting y’all next week. In the meantime, have a great weekend, everyone!

  • I don’t even know how I stopped up right here,
but I believed this put up used to be good. I don’t recognise who you might be but definitely you’re going to a well-known blogger when you aren’t already.

  • The Unbound! I’m so jealous. My library doesn’t have it, so I’m desperately waiting until I can buy it. Enjoy all of your books! I recently acquired Days of Blood & Starlight. Must get to reading this series!

  • I finished ACID a couple of days ago. It took me over a week to finish it, because I thought the beginning got off to a slow start. I almost gave it up, but I’m glad I kept reading, because it got much more interesting.

  • OMG YES you got The Archived! We have been waiting desperately for that to come to Australia. I just love that cover of Zak and Mia, the one we have here is different. Enjoy your reads Joy!

  • Awesome books!! I seriously need to read whatever comes after Daughter of Smoke and Bone because I loved that one!! Then I can get to Dreams of God and Monsters. Glad that you loved it! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

    • No problem, Shannon. 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy Daughter of Smoke and Bones when you get to read it.

  • Christy

I really want to read The Geography of You and Me. Aww, that sucks you didn’t like the Eileen Cook book (haha – that sounds funny). I’ve only read one book by her and liked it. Hope you get to read more.

    • Lol. Christy, your sense of humour is at “Joy” level. It’s why we get along so well. 🙂

  • Aww, sorry to hear work is getting in the way of reading! Boo work! Don’t overstress yourself Joy, find time to read to relax, and just forget about having to meet any deadlines. Reading is for enjoyment, and with so many amazing books you’ve gotten this week, you’ll definitely have to find some time to just relax and read for enjoyment 😀

    • Thanks, Joy. 🙂 It’s better this week, so I hope to stalk your blog sometime. Lol.

  • Zac & Mia is the cutest!! I also really want to read The Geography of You and Me. I have heard many things about it.

  • Have a fab weekend, J. and a holiday very soon *crossing the fingers* Hope you enjoy Acid more than me LOL *huge hugs*

    • Thanks, love. I am just now realizing that Acid may be one of those reads. Sigh.

  • Acid sounds good, hope you enjoy!

    • It does, doesn’t it? Though after much snooping around Goodreads, the book hasn’t been getting much love. Sigh.

  • I loved one book by Smith and I’m curious about this one as well. You had a lot of books! Happy reading!

    • Thanks, Melliane. I always end up buying more than I intended. I’m self-control deficient. Lol.
