  • I’m a total fool for books! I admit it! lol Great great great giveaway!

  • Daniel M

nope, these days it’s difficult to find the time to read, never enough hours in the day anymore

  • I have no shortage of reading materials, yet, whenever I go to the library, I can’t resist the shelving carts and “new books” shelves. I check out books I know will probably get renewed and then be returned unread. It’s an ongoing pattern. All this doesn’t stop me from reserving books, buying from library sales/thrift stores, and entering giveaways. Oh, and I’m a magazine junkie too. I used to have TONS of subscriptions and still have boxes of magazines I can’t bring myself to purge until I’ve perused them.

  • Erika

I am always a fool for books. I am usually reading 2-3 at a time, one paperback and 1-2 on my Kindle! I take a book with me with I’m not the one driving to read in the car and love to read all summer outside! Thanks!

  • Unless you count the fact that I can’t manage to walk around without a book in my hand, I don’t really think I’ve made a fool of myself! πŸ™‚

  • Isa

I remember reading the first few chapters of Anna and the French Kiss in a clothing store while my friend was shopping. I was giggling and blushing all by my lonesome, needless to say, the store owners were wondering about my behaviour. xD Thank you for the giveaway, enjoy your day! πŸ™‚

  • Janie McGaugh

No, not unless you count the occasional suppressed squee when I’ve found a book on sale that I really want!

  • Saralisa Helleberg

I don’t remember ever making a fool of myself for a book. I might have sounded like a fool because I couldn’t stop talking about a book, though. lol Thanks so much for this giveaway!

  • Well, I can’t remember having done so intentionally, but I’m sure I have any number of times. I did run fill tilt into a glass wall (going into a crowded store) while talking animatedly once. I fell straight backwards onto my butt. I’m sure that doesn’t count, does it? Hahaha.

  • Dorothy Teel

Well does that count reading a dirty book way back when I was in high school and getting caught by the teacher was I ever embarrassed. BUt not since..

  • A friend and I were so excited to buy A Casual Vacancy that we caught the bus straight after school to the bookshop, and ran inside, only to discover it wasn’t the JK Rowling we knew and loved πŸ™ I burst into tears because it truly was an adulty adult book! Maybe I’ll read it when I’m older πŸ™‚

  • BookLady

I’m a fool for books whenever I go to a used book sale and buy a ton of books. Thanks for the fantastic giveaway!

  • I went to a Harry Potter book event at the library for the release of the last book, and ate some goodies, got my picture taken πŸ™‚

  • Never! I always love my book. Make them all feel comfort as long as they with me. FYI, I never let my books borrowed by others unless I’m very very sure the borrower’s one who fulfil my deep requirements. Pretty hard, but it’s in order to preserve my collections. Even I do not care if called a stingy.

  • I’m never without a book or my Kindle in hand or nearby, but I wouldn’t call that being a fool about books.

  • Not for a specific book, but I get overly excited about getting new ones, especially when they are surprises or presents πŸ™‚

  • not really, but I waited in a line for hours for Rachel Ray to sign her cookbook

  • Wes Hovorka

    I can’t think of a time I have been a fool about a book.

  • bn100

    Don’t think I have

  • Martha

I must have, I’m a retired librarian, so I had plenty of chances.

  • I’d guess you could say that whatever books make me cry sometimes make me feel like a fool, because they affect me so much. πŸ™‚

  • Can’t remember anything like that πŸ˜€

  • Actually I have! My husband and I re-created a scene from a romance book. That is all I will tell you in order for this to be PG LOL!

  • ladymagnolia99

I can’t ever remember doing anything like that. I usually read at home.

  • Dovile

I’m on BookMooch book swap site, and I send away lots of books by post, so I know I look ridiculous when I lug like 5 packages to my local PO and then have to add 3 to 7 stamps on each while the qeue gets longer and longer… πŸ˜€ Foolishness repeats when I come to pick up boxes of incoming books.

  • Rachel Spring

Not that I can think of, but that doesn’t mean that I haven’t. Just that I can’t remember it πŸ™‚ Thanks for the giveaway!!

  • Everyday. lol =D

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  • A fool for books, definitely. I think that’s why I started blogging in the first place! It’s an addiction to discover new books, acquire them, read them, blog about them … then do it all over again … and again …:)

  • Mary G Loki

I was reading Sherman Alexie’s Absoultely True Diary of a Part Time Indian in a Starbucks. I was crying bc of the book, so many people where sneaking glances at me. πŸ™ It was akward, so I walked to my car and sat in there till I finished the book.

  • Jennifer Rote

I won a book of choice and picked Fifty Shades of Gray. Then remembered it was a religious blog!

  • I hope not! Lol But I guess I would say Twilight.

  • Krista

Not really. I did skip my lunch hour one time just to pick up my book from my post office. I just couldn’t wait.

  • Mary Brandis

No I don’t think I have ever made a fool of myself for a book. Although I had won a book that I was so excited to win. I could not wait to get it and seven weeks passed and still no book. I did message the blogger that did the giveaway. She was so nice and said it was sitting there . I got it in three days and am reading it now.

  • A fool for a book? No.
