Last week’s haul are books bought from our recent trip to Las Vegas. We took quite an adventure, my husband and I, trying to get to the nearest Barnes & Noble. There used to be one just minutes away from the Strip but it closed down, so we had to cab it to the ‘burbs to get to the next closest one. At least, my husband thought it was the closest. I have a feeling it wasn’t, because we spent $115 in cab fare! Yeesh. Anyway, we had to ask the lady driver to stay and wait for us. Needless to say, I didn’t get to browse as long as I normally would. So very disappointing.
I got one book from Simon & Schuster Canada. Funny story, I requested this book because I thought it’s a children-appropriate book but it wasn’t. Regardless, much love, Anneliese of Simon & Schuster!
