  • I really enjoyed Ink is Thicker Than Water and I'm quite curious about Conjuring. For some reason, I haven't heard anything at all about that one, which is strange as Durst's novels usually gain a lot of publicity before and after their release, but news of this one slipped completely under my radar. I also LOVE that you've picked up so many classics. I haven't read any of them, but I do see some familiar titles and authors (Dostoevsky is a favorite of mine!), so I can't wait to see your thoughts on these as well. Fantastic haul and enjoy your new acquisitions! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Wow! What a huge and awesome haul!!! Happy Reading this week ๐Ÿ™‚

    Lindy@ A Bookish Escape

  • Oooh! They all look so pretty lines up like that. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Rebel Spring immediately caught my eye out of all of these books. I just read that recently and LOVED it. I hope you do too!

    Nicole @ The Quiet Concert

  • You buy the “coolest” books!! Does that make sense? LOL. I see you got another one of the Penguin Horror books. I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but it was your earlier post about another one of these books, with a picture showcasing the black pages, that prompted me to buy The Raven. I'd like to get a few more. Oohh… I just had an idea. I was about to type (jokingly) that I wish I could turn The Raven backwards so that I could show off the black pages on my bookcase. But then it hit me that I could display the book on one of my “floating bookshelves” hanging on my living room wall.

I have not seen the white covers before. Is that from one publisher? I MUST HAVE THEM.

Of the ones you purchased, I've read Rebel Spring, Day One (both were pretty good) and The Conjured, which was unintentionally silly with a terrible love triangle. But it had a wacked-out ending that ALMOST made it worth it.

  • Ooh, you get such interesting books! I don't think I'd ever pick some of them up, but I get so intrigued when I see what you're getting! But gah those drop caps are so darn pretty. It's all I can do not to buy them all. Happy reading, Joy!

    Rachel @ Paper Cuts

  • Wow. So many great looking books. I really enjoyed Ink is Thicker Than Water. I've heard great things about Racing Savannah. I've never read anything by the author, but I know she's pretty popular. Great haul!

  • Oh wow! This is a fantastic haul! I envy your drop caps!

  • Amazing haul! I'm actually reading Conjured right now and it's exactly not my read. Hopefully you will enjoy it and all the other amazing books!

    Happy Reading!

  • Oh, I love how you've got a little book rainbow there! (Gorgeous colours, by the way) I hope they're as good as they look!

The Vow is on my wish list as well. Looking forward to hearing what you think!

  • Wow great haul! Racing Savannah sounds good! Can't wait to see what you think! Hope you enjoy all of them.

  • Ink is Thicker Than Water looks and sounds really good! I recently(ish) got the first book for Rebel Spring, I need to read it now! It looks like you got a ton of good ones!

  • Wonderful haul, Joy! And woohoo for Racing Savannah! Hope you enjoy it … and the other books. But mostly RS. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Great books, love the pictures. I still need to read Falling Kingdoms but I hear it's great. I am also really curious about Snakeroot.

  • Racing Savannah looks good, hope you enjoy!

  • Ah, lots of beautiful books. <3 I love pretty books, hih ๐Ÿ˜€ I have yet to read Rebel Spring, though.. probably because I must re-read Falling Kingdoms first, and I'm feeling lazy these days (A) but soon ๐Ÿ˜€ Anyway! I hope you will love all of these books Joy. <3 Happy reading ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Rebel Spring is amazing! There's so many new developments, and I immediately wanted to read the next book as soon as I finished. The Vow and Snakeroot both sound great, too. I hope you enjoy all of your books ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I like that cover of Pulp! You always have the most interesting books in your haul, Joy. Conjured was not for me. I hope you like it more than I did. Enjoy your lovelies! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • You hoarder you! You just can't help yourself, can you? I think there are libraries that don't buy nearly as many books. ๐Ÿ™‚
You have Bulgakov over there, so obviously I love you, and Rebel Springs! I need to read that already.
    Happy reading!

  • Wow, that is definitely an impressive haul! You've got some great editions of books there – I love the hardcover Penguin Drop Caps, they are so pretty!

Enjoy all your new books and happy reading ๐Ÿ™‚

  • that's a lot of books and I'm curious about mostly of them. I hope you'll enjoy them all. Happy reading!
