Hoarders, Books Edition: Episode 95

Hello there. This week’s book haul shows improvement. Meaning, I spent very little. Go me! πŸ™‚ I got two books for review and the rest were bought. It’s been a great reading week and also very productive in the creativity department. My obsession with black out poetry has taken over practically every waking moment that I have to spare. I’m behind on reviews but I’m not worried about that. As long as I’m reading, then I’m good. So this is my haul:
I technically only bought two books and a couple of graphic novels this week. This is perhaps the smallest haul I have on record. Simon & Schuster Canada rocks. Seriously. They’re the only publisher who sends me books for review. I mean, unsolicited, that is. I only ask if they offer.Β
FOUR SECONDS TO LOSE by K.A. Tucker
THE OFFERING BY Kimberly Derting
THE NATURALS by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
THIS WICKED GAME by Michelle Zink
SAGA Vol. I by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples
SAGA Vol. II by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples
Ehmerged. These graphic novels, you guise. I want to marry it. Seriously. It’s beyond words awesome. I read this back-to-back. I’ll be posting my review (an attempt, anyway) next week.Β
That’s it for this week! Thanks for reading. πŸ™‚
  • I'm not a huge NA reader but I enjoyed Four Seconds to Lose. Hope you enjoy it too!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics

  • The Naturals is pretty fun. It's definitely a fast read. I have This Wicked Game on my Kindle, but need to read it still. Great haul and happy reading!

  • I am very curious about This Wicked Game so I look forward to your thoughts. And The Naturals was a fun read but relied on coincidences. You'll see =P

  • The Naturals is amazing! Also, The Offering sounds great. I've only read The Pledge, but I really enjoyed it. I hope you love all your books πŸ™‚

  • Cool stack. Happy reading πŸ™‚

    My StS

  • My Twitter feed is always full of people's love of Graphic Novels, I really want to give some a try, but never know where to start, any recommendations will be most welcome! I hope you enjoy all your lovelies Joy! πŸ™‚

  • Fantastic look for the graphic novels, Joy! And I'm really glad you've been creative. That's all that maters, not the amount of books you should read per week πŸ™‚ I'm back online, my internet is fast again, so will be seeing you, darling *huge hugs*

  • Glad you're enjoying the blackout poetry so much. It is pretty cool. Your haul may be small, but it's a good one. I want to read The Naturals.

  • Oh I really enjoyed the naturals, it was a great novel! I hope you'll enjoy all your new books. Happy reading!

  • Wish there was a Simon and Schuster Norway. <3 Sigh. So jealous! DYING to read The Offering. <3 I hope you will love them all, Joy πŸ™‚ (That publisher don't ship to Norway. But they did ship The Dream Thieves to me, well, to a friend of mine in America. <3) But anyway. I'm so happy with the publishers that do ship to Norway πŸ™‚ So I can't be too upset about it ;p Ohh. Also. Loving the covers for the graphic novels πŸ™‚

  • The Offering has such a nice cover. Heard good things about K.A. Tucker. Great haul.

  • I really need to start the Ten Tiny Breaths series! Heard so much about those books. Hopefully this winter break πŸ™‚
And I also need to read The Pledge. I love Derting's Body Finder series so I hope I'll love this one too. The Naturals sounds great, and I've been meaning to read that since I love Barnes' Raise by Wolves series.
Great books this week! Happy reading πŸ™‚

  • I've had Saga 1 for ages. IT was sent to me by my friend Flannery, and I still haven't read it. I am SUCH a jerk. I really need to finally pick it up.
Also, I'm on the fence about Naturals. The reviews have been all over the place, I have no idea what to think.
    Happy reading!

  • Nice haul! IΒ΄ve read and liked The Naturals, at least for me itΒ΄s a good thriller. enjoy your books.
