So, today is the last day for The Shadows Blog Tour. I sure hope you’ve been following or you’re missing a ton of great posts and giveaways! I’ll have the link down at the bottom in case you missed someone’s post. Incidentally, if you haven’t checked out this book yet…well, quite frankly, I don’t know what the heck you’re waiting for. Shadows will give you a different take on the angels trope and man,
Rafa. Be still my heart.
You can check out my review of Shadows here.
Anyway, today’s stop for this tour is another invasion of privacy orchestrated by yours truly. Let’s all snoop around Ms. Weston’s bookshelves, shall we?
A few shots of my shelves
I had a wall of books at our old place (my husband and I moved house earlier this year year: it took 30 boxes to pack them up). In our new place, I’ve unpacked just over half (my fiction and research favourites). Here’s a look at my new bookshelf. There’s another layer of books behind what’s on display. My comic collection is still packed safely away.
A shelf of faves (Maggie Stiefvater and Melina Marchetta), plus my Richelle Mead shelf.
My YA faves (mostly Australian)
Some fantasy and urban fantasy faves over the years.
Love, love, love your shelves! I think we pretty much have the same YA faves (Melina Marchetta!!!) because I’m a huge fan of Aussie authors. This is Shyness, Jellicoe Road…whelp. I see HAZE. I’m staring at HAZE. I’m drooling over your copy of HAZE.
What was the last book you purchased?
“This very cool, very funny YA debut by Aussie writer Melissa Keil.”
What was the last book you read?
“It was actually the above book (Life in Outer Space), so for this question I’m going with the book I’m currently reading (just started).”
What book is on your wish list?
“I’m a huge Maggie Stiefvater fan and really enjoy the new direction she’s taking with The Raven Boys. My copy of the second in the series is on order.”
Thank you so so so much, Tundra Books and Ms. Paula Weston for letting me be a part of this tour. I’m dying to read what Rafa and Gaby’s been up to. October is not too far away, though. So it shouldn’t be too long now. As promised, check out what has happened so far in the tour here.
