Hoarders, Books Edition: Episode 76

I know I sound like a broken record but yeah, I’m sorry for the lack of activities on the blog but real life has been taking the driver’s seat so can’t help but be the passive passenger. I’m hoping that things will be back to normal soon as my soon-to-be former boss have a few candidates lined up for my job. I have been reading but haven’t been able to write any reviews for the books that I have read.

I normally have my Hoarders post up by Sunday morning so this is a little late. Last week’s book haul was great. I only got a couple of books in the mail courtesy of the fabulous Bethzaida of Bookitty Blog. She went to BEA and was nice enough to send me Frozen, a September release from Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston. She also lent me her ARC of Wild Cards by Simone Elkeles (so good!). The rest of my haul are all bought. Last week, my husband, for some reason kept finding excuses to bring me to the bookstore. Needless to say, I went crazy again (big exaggerated sigh).

Wild Cards by Simone Elkeles | Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston
Insomnia by J.R. Johansson | Shadows Cast by Stars by Catherine Knutsson
Wild Awake by Hillary T. Smith | The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau
Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn | The Oathbreaker’s Shadow by Amy McCullogh
The Impossibility of Tomorrow by Avery Williams | Boy Nobody by Allen Zadoff
Burned by Ellen Hopkins | The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau
Another Little Piece by Kate Karyus Quinn | Far Far Away by Tom McNeal
Tides by Betsy Cornwell
So that’s what I got last week. I hope yours was awesome as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you Beth! You are the sweetest for thinking about me while you were out there in New York meeting awesome people from the book community. I hope I can return the favour someday.
Have a great week, everyone!
