Saturday Snapshots [5]: Favourites in Black & White

I have read several hundreds of books in my short lifetime.
I’ve met thousands of people –
been to many places.
Battled my demons
Avenged my loved ones.
Seen it all and did them all
through books, I’ve lived many lifetimes.
Escaping reality
living fantasies
tears that I’ve cried
for made-up people
whose struggles were so real
…as real as if they were mine.
You can’t write if you can’t relate. – Beck, Loser

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Linky that can be found on Alyce’s At Home with Books blog. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

  • There's nothing like a well-written book to make the story real!

Thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos with us! Saturday Snapshot is definitely becoming one of my favourite posts on your blog! <3

  • Two of those books I'll be reading this year for my book club! Yay!

Thanks for taking part in Saturday Snapshot!

  • What great photos. The first two are definitely on my TBR, indeed as an Australian I feel ashamed that I've never read Melina Marchetta.

  • Neat take on your faves and the writing process …

  • The books work really well in black and white – and it means you focus on the titles, not the cover dsign. My Snapshot is at
