This week was another slow week here on my blog. I’ve been sick so I didn’t think it was a good idea for the medicated me to write anything. I managed to read some phenomenal books – The Fault in Our Stars, being one of them. God. This book. Anyway, I’m hoping to have some reviews lined up for next week. This is what I got.
A Time of Change by Aimée & David Thurlo This was sent to me for review by Tor/Forge. I don’t really know much about it except that it sounds like a Mystery/Western Romance type of book. Sounds interesting anyway. Thanks so much, Tor!
Dark Peril by Christine Feehan This is book #21 of the Dark series. I haven’t read them but I bought the first book on sale. I figure I’ll hunt them down until I have the entire series.
Quintana of Charyn by Melina Marchetta As always, I try to buy any new release by Ms. Marchetta. I just need to wait for the paperback copy and then I’m set.
Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout I can’t seem to bring myself to read books 2 and 3 of this series but I ended up buying book 4 anyway. Sigh.
Love Letters by Katie Fforde This sounds like a nice contemporary read. Looking forward to reading this!
Icons by Margaret Stohl Fairly lukewarm reception for this one. It sounds interesting, anyway.
Game [Jasper Dent, #2] by Barry Lyga Loved the first book, dying to read this one as well.
Life After Theft by Aprilynne Pike So…I’m not a fan of mean girls and private schools in books. I don’t know why I picked this up, to be honest. I’m willing to give it a go anyway.
Dear Life, You Suck by Scott Blagden Looking forward to this one. It sounds like a laugh-out-loud read.
Unbreakable [Unraveling, #2] by Elizabeth Norris Just another series that I’ve been looking forward to reading. But now that it’s here, I can’t seem to pick it up. Sigh.
The Eternity Cure [Blood of Eden, #2] by Julie Kagawa I really need to start The Immortal Rules.
Under the Hawthorn Tree by Ai-Mi I’m going to start this book right now. It’s a historical novel set in China and the love story sounds epic. Can’t wait!
I showed you mine. Show me yours?
