Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan I read this book a while back on my Kindle. Can you say high intensity angst? It was like a shock to the system but I enjoyed it anyway. You can check out my review HERE.
Margaret from Maine by Joseph Monninger I got this book from the publisher (Plume) for review as my stop on a blog tour hosted by AToMR. I’m very excited about this! It sounds like something I would enjoy or cry over. It’s romance with a little bit (or a lot of) angst thrown into the mix. I can’t wait to devour it! And yay, for Adult Fiction. 🙂
Shadowlands by Kate Brian This book was one of those much-hyped release for the month of January but unfortunately, a couple of reviewers that I trust on Goodreads did not give it a favourable feedback. I’m not too excited to read it now and will most likely shelve it for future read.
Vortex [Tempest #2] by Julie Cross I loved Tempest and cannot wait to read this one. But in the spirit of honesty, I don’t know when I can get to it. I’m thinking about future tour stops on the blog and I’m just…yeah.
The Cadet of Tildor by Alex Lidell High fantasy, you say? Well, sign me up! I’m a big fan of girls wielding swords so it was a no brainer.
Boundless [Earthly #3] by Cynthia Hand Damn. I couldn’t resist taking a peek at the very last page of this book. Yo, Clara! Who did you pick? Christian? Or Tucker? Like everything else that happened in the book didn’t matter. *snorts*
Everbound [Everneath #2] by Brodi Ashton I can’t believe I lucked out on this one. Yesterday, my husband told me that I’m allowed to buy two books for the week. I crossed my fingers and hoped that this and Boundless would be available for purchase already. When we got to the bookstore, the girl whom I always see on my jaunts, literally fangirled and said, “OMG, Boundless is here!” Lol. So this and Boundless are my precious finds this week. Über excited!
Shades of the Earth [Across the Universe #3] by Beth Revis Gah. I’m completely freaked about reading this book. I’m excited that this completes the trilogy but I can only imagine what kind of really messed up creatures they’re bound to find in Centauri-Earth (I’m picturing Ru-paul…only with eight arms).
So that’s my haul for this week. I tried cancelling five of these books from Amazon but I guess it’s too late (to my husband’s chagrin!). Next week may be a different story. I might changed my book haul post to THIS WEEK’S TWO, since I’m only allowed to buy two books per week. Lol. We’ll see how it goes.
