To want what you’re not supposed to have…
She is only nineteen.
She is his new stepfather’s daughter.
She is still naïve and innocent due to spending the last three years taking care of her sick mother.
But for twenty-four year old Rush Finlay, she is the only thing that has ever been off limits. His famous father’s guilt money, his mother’s desperation to win his love, and his charm are the three reasons he has never been told no.
Blaire Wynn left her small farmhouse in Alabama, after her mother passed away, to move in with her father and his new wife in their sprawling beach house along the Florida gulf coast. She isn’t prepared for the lifestyle change and she knows she’ll never fit into this world. Then there is her sexy stepbrother who her father leaves her with for the summer while he runs off to Paris with his wife. Rush is as spoiled as he is gorgeous. He is also getting under her skin. She knows he is anything but good for her and that he’ll never be faithful to anyone. He is jaded and has secrets Blaire knows she may never uncover but even knowing all of that…
Blaire just may have fallen too far.

Oy Dios mio. I can’t even begin to tell you how deep this author’s got her claws on me. I would like to express my feels through this less than brilliant poetry…or whatever the hell you call this thing.

There’s this girl
Her name’s Blaire
She lost her mom
her house
but not her spunk, her flare.

The world kicked her ass
and didn’t give her any pass
in a society where money
rules the caste
and class.

And then she meets Rush
whose silver eyes
made her blush
who smells kind of devine
and looks daaaaamn fine.
But when he opened his mouth
his words were blunt, uncouth.
You’re not wanted here,” he said,
his words severe.

What’s a girl to do?
Wanting to collect her due
Good karma for good deeds
and not the harsh welcome
that made her bleed.

But then he changed his mind
all of a sudden he is kind
gave our girl a room
in a closet for their brooms.

And then they started talking
and gave her the cold shoulders
as soon as their relationship smoulders.

“Acckkk! What is your damage?”
she screams in frustration.
He pulls on his hair and yells back,
“You’re my damnation!”

Do you want to know what happened?
How their story ends?
Well, I can’t answer that question
My heart still hurts
and in dire need of compression.

On a side note: this book’s editing was a bit of a let-down. Missing words galore. But hell, I don’t care. This book is every bit as addicting as her other work.
