I Sucketh the Biggeth.

Well, March has come and gone and all I can say, dear readers, is that it was a clustercluck of fails for me. I don’t even want to go through the rigamarole of explaining how bad my month was but needless to say, I’m kicking March out to door and thanking the heavens that it was OVAH.

April is here now and I firmly resolved that it will NOT be an echo of the month gone by.

I’m behind; like severely, badly, astronomically behind in everything…and it’s got me completely freaked out. It just seem like life stalled in March. I’ve procrastinated so much that I now twelve review copies that are sitting patiently, some more than others, in queue. This may not be a cause for alarm for others, but to me, this is way beyond out of control. If you’re a regular visitor of my IMM posts, you’d know that I buy more books than I can handle. So adding fuel to the freak-out fire, are the review copies I’ve requested and some that I have gotten from the authors. This is just not acceptable. First of all, I owe it to these authors to read and give them my feedback about their books. Second of all, I’d rather just read books on my leisure than let it be dictated by the pressure of time constraints.

So here are the measly number of books that I’ve READ and REVIEWED.

2nd – The Iron Queen (Iron Fey #3) by Julie Kagawa
3rd – Dead To You by Lisa McMann
5th – Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen
6th – The Girl Who Could Silence the Wind by Meg Medina
7th – Croak by Gina Damico
9th – Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
12th – Embrace by Jessica Shirvington
16th – Destiny Binds by Tammy Blackwell
19th – Starters by Lissa Price
20th – A Love by Any Measure by Killian McRae
21st – The Summer I Learned to Fly by Diane Reinhardt
24th – Fix Me by Rune Michaels
25th – A Temptation of Angels by Michelle Zink
30th – Lover Reborn (BDB #10) by JR Ward <– (GIVEAWAY ALERT!)

  • No matter how you feel about it, the fact remains that I've both started visiting regularly and fell in love with your reviews in March. So from where I'm standing, it's been a great month.
I'm sure you'll catch up soon.

  • Oh wow! A 2.8 average? That's depressing.
Thanks for the Rec's! I'll probably try to read those three this month.

  • I hope so too! I need exactly that – a book to fall in love with reading again. 🙂

  • Thanks, Shellie! I'll definitely check it out. I hope April will be great for you as well.

  • SoOoOoOo it wasn't just my March that sucked arse then huh? Well, that's good to know. I'm attempting to write my 3rd review today before posting them…and oh yeah…reading…need to get some of that in since I've been majorly slacking in that department. Have you been to Angela's blog and signed up for the page count? If not here's the link – http://www.readingangel.com/search/label/Page%20Count%20Contest – hopefully that'll help you (and me) into getting more done this month =)

  • You definitely need some good reads to make up for March. Hopefully April will give you some! 🙂
